Birds of a Feather
My idea for this theme came from seeing a single, gorgeous piece of artwork on here. That was this one: [link] by . I find to be one of the most stunning things I have ever come across on here! Thus, all kinds of ideas sprouted in my head. There are so many different bright colored birds that could be used in this manner! There are tons and tons of ways you can go with this, so i hope you all just let loose and take it to the next level!

Rules No, there arent too many! x)
This is an equine arts contest. You must take a horse and make it resemble a bird of your choice. You have nearly free reign on this, however I do not want to see a black pegasus entered called a crow. A few of the bird types not allowed will be crows, ravens, storks, swans, pelicans etc. Basically any bland colored ones. Black capped chickadees or the like are fine. If you have a question, please feel free to ask me.
Must be made for this contest, you cant just use something you have already done.
Two entries per person is acceptable

Entries are to be linked through comments on this Journal only. I will be posting another Journal showing all of the entries once they start coming in.
Last day for entries to be in for this contest is June 1st, 2009 at midnight Eastern Standard Time That gives you two months.

You can do any category that falls under Traditional or Digital arts. Paintings, photomanips, nearly everything goes. All will be judged the same.
